It was a privilege to work with this group. Each of them never wasted a minute of rehearsal time, even when my focus was on another dancer. That is so fulfilling.
It is also very fulfilling to have had the opportunity to create something all my own. It seems that for years now I've done "commissioned" choreography - someone else decides the music or the concept and asks me to produce the choreography. In this case, I got to create everything completely my own: the concept, the music, the choreography, the costumes, the light design. So so so so fun.
